Wybron 20610 Net IT PS-600
Got Ethernet? Got Scrollers? Here is your power supply. Working within the Infotrace™ feedback system, Wybron's Net IT PS-600™ gateway and power supply transmits and receives DMX512 and RDM (Remote Device Management or E1.20) on Ethernet cable by using ACN (streaming DMX, or E1.31) and ArtNet. It also powers Wybron's RDM-compatible products such as the Coloram IT™ scrolling color changer, the CXI IT™ dual-scroller color-mixing changer, the Eclipse IT™ mechanical dowsers both shutter and iris.
In addition to powering scrollers with 4-pin cable, you get another DMX universe (512 channels) which can use the 5-pin DMX cable to connect to the rest of the lighting rig – moving lights, smoke machines, dimmers, and more.
Net IT works hand-in-hand with the Infogate software and graphical user interface, which lets users monitor their lighting rigs from a computer screen.
RDM, an industry-standard two-way communication protocol was developed by ESTA in 2006. This protocol lets the devices on a rig actually tell their operators when there's a problem. This lets operators troubleshoot problems quickly. It's an invaluable tool for lighting pros who want to be proactive, not reactive, when it comes to problems on a rig.
